Suki -- Love
It was supposed to be an easy conversation.
Oyaji was going to tell his daughter about the duty she had to her people, and that she needed to put aside her own selfish urges and make the betterment of Kyoshi Island her first priority. She would understand -- Suki had always been mild and dutiful when the need arose, and she had such a level head. She would see that he had her best interests at heart, and she would listen calmly to what he had to say. That was what always happened, and thus it was what he always expected.
He did not expect Suki's eyes to go wide and furious, or her hands to clench into tight fists on her dresser. "What?"

Kirara was walking the familiar path to the hill where four graves were. The four graves belonged to the four samurai who gave up their lives so they could live without fear. But, that was ten years ago. She hadn't seen Katsushiro or Kambei in ten years. She had gone back to see Yukino and Shichiroji, but they hadn't seen them either. When she reached the top, she saw some kids playing.
"I wonder what these graves are here for," one kid said.
"Oh look! It's Kirara-sama! Maybe she could tell us what these graves are here for!"
All the kids ran up to Kirara and gathered around her.
"Kirara-sama, please tell us what these are here

Radimir's character sheet: [link]

Tada! My audition for the tournament. It is really fucking long, I know. I wanted to give enough backstory so that A) somebody wouldn't have to read my long-ass character sheet and B) it actually *bothers* you. Because none of this works if it doesn't mean something. Hopefully, when I do an actually fight scene it will only be 2-3000 words.
A few notes: I swear a lot. I know. If it offends you, you can imagine the "*bleep*" noises in your head, but Radimir is a rough-and-tumble manly-man. Therefore, he swears.
The way I see it, Persephone originally spotted Radimir when he was in his prime (age eighteen), but then she got distracted by something or other in her hospital. When she looked back, she saw him as he is now (twenty-nine) and decided to run with it. After all, when Radimir was eighteen, there was nothing that would've made him fight in this tournament. He was too happy with his family, and when he got shot, he was too depressed.
Radimir doesn't know anything about Greek myths. He has no idea who Persephone is.
Holly's injury: Holly was shot from a high rooftop. The bullet fractured the parietal bone (the very furthest back) nearly straight down. Most likely damage would be to the occipital lobe (affecting her vision), the parietal lobe (affecting her perception, movement, and vision) and/or cerebellum (coordination). She wouldn't die from a wound like this with immediate treatment to control bleeding and remove the bullet, but it would really mess her up.
I added a detail about Holly's necklace since I wanted it to have some significance beyond just something for Radimir to remember Holly by. In case you didn't know, the lyric is from "Let It Be" by the Beatles.
(By the way, I'm not a doctor, so I'm pulling this out of my ass. If you know better, please let me know!)
On a completely different note, DA hates literature. Why do they feel the need to take my dashes away?
