7. Heaven

Crowley and Aziraphale had almost gotten used to people shouting "faggots" at them from car windows. Almost. Crowley still felt it necessary to demonstrate his opinion now and then. "Don't be obscene, Crowley," said Aziraphale, spinning from side to side on his chair.

The demon took a drag from his cigarette and didn't speak for a moment. "You know, angel, I'm starting to think we should just fuck and get it over with."

Aziraphale stopped spinning and looked at him, shocked. "Crowley! How could you say such a thing?" The demon raised an eyebrow--he made a suggestion along these lines about once a week, more often around the holidays. "That would be immoral."

Crowley's eyebrows went higher. "What, don't tell me you actually care about that 'do not lie with man like you lie with a woman' stuff? I thought you were all, 'Love is love.'"

But Aziraphale shook his head. "No, it's immoral because there's a bet going back at the apartment about when we're going to 'hook up.' And everyone knows gambling is a sin."

...This is crap. But I hated this prompt and couldn't think of anything to do for it. About the only thing I don't mind about this picture is that I think I'm finally over my paranoia about drawing 3/4-view faces. I don't know why, but I couldn't draw that for the longest time...

This is sort of a double fanart... the characters are originally from Good Omens, which is one of my favorite books ever, but I drew them as they appear in Roommates. Roommates, as far as I'm concerned, is basically the best fancomic ever (except for perhaps its spinoff, Girls Next Door).

I don't necessarily ship these two. I like flirting between them, but I have a feeling Azira would just stare blankly at Crowley if he ever made a serious advance.

...While I was drawing this, I was having the greatest difficulty with Crowley. I just kept thinking, "He doesn't look like Crowley. Why doesn't he look like Crowley?" And then I realized that Crowley happens to look almost exactly like this hot teacher I had last semester. Which is not a bad thing at all.
